I have discovered this reappearing small character on busy manhattan streets.

It looks like a robot, it looks like an animation figure.....

If you look carefully and often at the city cross walks you may also see this painted street figure, It appears to be laying

down and becomes more and more faded each day.

Where did it come from....is it a special sign, a gang mark, an alien message, or an artists street gallery?

Maybe I'll never know, but when I find one on the street I feel like I am meeting an old friend.

맨해튼의 길을 걷다보면 자주 눈에 띄는 작은 캐릭터를 발견하게 된다.

로봇 같기도 하고 만화에 나오는 인물 같기도 하고.....

당신이 주의깊게 살펴본다면 횡단보도 같은 곳에서 그 거리의 인물을 보게된다.

누워만 있는 그 이미지는 하루가 다르게 엷어지고 있다.

어디서 왔을까.... 어떤 기호일까, 갱조직의 표시일까, 외계인의 메시지일까 아님 예술가의 길거리 작품일까?

어쩌면 절대 못알아낼지도 모르겠다, 그러나 마주칠때마다 옛 친구를 만나는 느낌이 든다.
